Grade Your Mail

For small nonprofits, arts groups and music schools

Check the settings that decide whether your email reaches the inbox

We read the public records Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft check on every message from your domain and grade them A to F. For anything wrong, you get the exact record to add or change, with the clicks for your own DNS host.

Why it matters now

Feb 2024Gmail and Yahoo began requiring bulk senders to prove their mail is really theirs (SPF, DKIM and DMARC).
May 2025Microsoft began sending mail that fails the same rules to Junk for Outlook and Hotmail users.
About 92%of .org domains lacked basic DMARC protection in March 2024, in a study of 9.9 million of them.

Without these records, more of your appeals and newsletters land in spam, and anyone can send a fake donation request that looks like it came from you. The fix is usually a few records at your domain host. Knowing which ones is the hard part, and the report tells you.

How it works

  1. Press Order. The checkout page asks which domain to check, and you pay $49 by card through Stripe.
  2. We read your domain’s records again and email the report from hello@gradeyourmail.com within 2 hours.
  3. The report comes as a PDF and as a private web page. Each fix shows the record to copy and where to paste it at your DNS host, whether that is GoDaddy, Squarespace, Wix, Cloudflare or another company.
  4. When you have made the changes, reply to that email. We check again for free within 60 days.

What the report shows

We read only public DNS records, the same ones every mail server reads. We don’t ask for a password or send test mail, and we don’t touch your website or mail servers.

Questions

Do you need access to our email or domain?
No. Everything comes from public records. You or a volunteer make the changes, following the steps in the report. We never ask for a password.
How fast does the report arrive?
By email from hello@gradeyourmail.com, within 2 hours of payment. If it hasn’t come, check your spam folder, then write to that address.
Will this get every message into every inbox?
No one can promise that, because inboxes also weigh what you send and how readers respond. The report makes sure your setup follows the published rules, which is the part most small organizations are missing.
Is this a website check?
No. It looks only at your email settings.
What if the report doesn’t help?
Write to hello@gradeyourmail.com within 7 days of purchase and we refund the full $49.
Who is behind it?
Grade Your Mail is run by JHIZ Commerce LLC, a Wyoming company, which sells the Email Deliverability Check. We are not affiliated with Google, Yahoo or Microsoft.
